Our club plays at the Knights of Columbus/Boys & Girls Club of Rutland County gymnasium, located at 21 Merchants Row in historic downtown Rutland. The gym was fully renovated in 2005, ironically spearheaded by the president of our club when he worked for the Boys & Girls Club. The gym is located at the front edge of a large parking lot; entrance to the gym is on the southeast corner of the building. Rutland itself is located in central Vermont, between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks of New York; the city is equidistant from Middlebury to the north, Manchester to the south, Whitehall, NY to the west, and Woodstock and the famous Killington ski area to the east. Rutland is a hardscrabble town, Vermont’s 3rd largest city, numbering only 17,000 residents.
